GOAL: Create an estimate of all capital expenses needed to build a calorie fountain

Explanation

Startup cost is going to be a significant barrier to adoption, but it's hard to estimate just how big a hurdle this will be until we have some realistic numbers.

Deliverables

• a realistic estimate of all capital equipment costs required to start a calorie fountain, but excluding ongoing operating costs.

Success conditions

• consider this a success if it can be built for less than the cost of other major household appliances, such as furnace or central AC.
